With a diverse student body representing 52 nationalities, the school fosters a multicultural learning experience, as highlighted by the French Ambassador. Today, the school proudly educates 550 students, offering a high-quality bilingual curriculum that blends French academic excellence with Cypriot culture.

For the Basketball Initiative

The non-profit organization United Sports Cyprus (USC), with the support of the French Embassy in Cyprus, successfully held a press conference to launch an innovative initiative aimed at empowering young girls through basketball. The event took place on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 10:30 AM, at the outdoor basketball court of Ledra Palace Hotel in Nicosia. The press conference was honored by the presence of Ms. Clélia Séverin Kolatsko, French Ambassador to Cyprus, who highlighted the French Embassy’s support for this project. Representatives of USC, along with participants from various communities, also attended. This initiative provided weekly basketball training for girls aged 5-8 from different communities in Cyprus, with the goal of bridging social divides, promoting intercultural understanding and cooperation, developing leadership skills, and fostering a lifelong passion for sports. More than just a basketball program, this project served as a strategic investment in sports as a means of uniting communities, reinforcing ties between Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot youth. During the press conference, the organizers outlined the initiative’s goals, expected social impact, and future expansion plans, while attendees had the opportunity to meet the first young players who participated in the program.
